|Getting married at the courthouse is an elopement as well. Once you obtain the marriage license, you can drive to a courthouse and ask for an available judge. There, in the judges' chambers the judge will sign your papers, and depending on the judge, might even get you to say your vows. Pay the judge's fee of $200 - $300. Done. |
There is, however, nothing memorable about it, and, if the judge get called to attend judging business you get to wait until another judge becomes available. The building is cold and impersonal, the judge is probably in a hurry, and not much about it will be memorable.
That is why we suggest that we are the memorable alternative to courthouse weddings: your place or ours, vows to fit your wishes and time, and even photos to capture the moment. Just because you want to keep it simple does not mean you should make it cold and boring too.
It's a special moment! Let us help you make it memorable too!
