To elope is to get married from a legal point of view, but without all the pomp and ceremony typical of many weddings. If you want to be married, assuming you found someone who feels the same way about you, all you need is a marriage license - available at most county licensing centers (typically in the same place with the DMV) - and licensed someone to sign it, along with two witnesses.
It is up to you how simple or ornate a ceremony you should have. Maybe you want to say your vows, maybe you want to bring along a few friends, maybe you want a whole ceremony, but just in the privacy of a small group of friends and family... these are all elopments.
So, if you are looking to tie the knot without as much fuss as the bridal magazines will have you think you should have, then you are at the right place. When it comes to elopements we do it all! We:
